DET - Sure Q is the best but i-mode is going to get here before 1X and they will ahve the field to themsleves. By the time 1X gets going they will have most of the country brainwashed with their ads. They will sign up everyone from AOL down and they too will be singing the i-mode song. This is going to be a real live version of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". Just you wait and see the show they will put on. It will be awesome. I bet it will be in every newspaper every day and some. On TV channels probably on TV shows and soaps. These guys are the best marketeers that ever existed. By the time 1X gets around to being deployed later this year ....hopefully, i-mode will start all sorts of other ads abouth their new service thats just around the corner so 1X deployment will be too late to capture the market as it might have done with its tech lead. But tech cannot defeat a determined advertiser with big pockets. Of course if AWE didn't do this they would probably lose quite a bit of business as a straight competitino between what they are selling and 1X is no contest so it really doesn't matter to them how much they spend in ads.
