JOHN...."our new policy of exlicit guidance" is this the first time I have seen this expression or did I miss something. When did this new policy begin, at the recent Analysts meeting or at Qtr 1 report of earnings or prior? I am long INTEL(these many years ) so don't misjudge my comments. I've long had a feeling that INTEL had an ATTITUDE when dealing Analysts etc.that kind of said, HEY, we are INTEL, don't bug us. Examples....The math copressor problem.....the Qtr 2 EPS when the Analysts failed to include the effect of your warrants in the calculation of anticipated EPS.....Your presence here and the aforementioned " explict guidance" moves delight me, but I remember what a wise experienced Investor told me, "It's the margin, stupid". Thanks so much for your imput here.(cc to ANDY GROVE<G>)
