No, you are wrong. That Gallup is an analog for "job approval" because Clinton never had majority approval as a "person". Even the ABC poll found that. So your reading makes no sense.

The day of that ABC poll was about Jan 10. So Clinton had about two weeks left in which to disgrace himself.

And he did. I defy you to find any poll that says what you said, i.e., "Clinton's job approval ratings remained in the 60's to the day he left office."

Besides, polls are always taken after the fact, so any poll on the end of Clinton's term would have to be taken at the end of January or early Feb to give an accurate picture.

What's really important is that Clinton is reviled now and forever.
