I hope I've said something remotely within the range of what you're looking for. You did thanks Karen. One person on the other thread where I asked the question, thought as long as government provided good services for the money he doesn't care how much he is taxed (I guess as long as it is not beyond his ability to pay). His rational was apparently that if he doesn't have enough money to buy food and shelter after he pays taxes then the government can take care of him and his family. Tim
