In retrospect, I totally agree with your view on this issue. I think his attitude toward short selling caused him to miss a big opportunity to add value to subscribers' portfolios. The stereotypical view of short selling is that the loss potential is infinite, when in fact one can close out a short position with a phone call if the trade goes against you. It is not constructive to perpetuate that stereotype.
