Totally different. If a democracy decides to tax everyone, that isn't stealing. It is legally taxing people for the privilege of living in the country and the government is free to distribute the money as it's people see fit. The government is the people. If the people do not like the government they can rise up and change it, sometimes through a revolution... like Communism. You can either try to revolt or you can leave.

Your example of stealing- without legal authority is just silly.

I am trying to imagine an administrative system where personal stealing could be implemented. I can't think of a country where this has been tried. Bribery is similar to stealing- and it seems to work well enough in the countries where it is rampant, but it isn't legal anywhere that I know of.

So- although I think you are mixing apples and oranges- which most people here do, I don't have a problem with societies doing what they want, within their own borders. Of course I might personally have a problem with it, a subjective and personal problem- but I don't have an absolute moral objection to anything. Taxation I have no problem with personally, however.
