I had posted to Profile a couple days back that I really thought Intel's announcement of softening server chip demand was bad news for CPQ. Going forward, CPQ is really caught between a rock and a hard place because of Dell's attack (on price) in the PC and low end server space, and less and less 'room to hide' on the high end due to encroaching competition. Unless they can attack IBM much more effectively in the 'services package' space, it's gonna be tough going forward.
