Thanks for the advice. I like your approach but am guessing that I should still contact the manufacturer of the PC to get the required drivers for modem, NIC and video card before I attempt to switch from NT to W2K.

Otherwise, I probably would not be able to copy the correct driver files from the old h/d to the new one.

Am I correct in my thoughts? TIA.
