V.SXG Samex Mining

Samex seems to be slipping away, and yet I can't seem to differ with your assessment that it is a company with value.
Could you give some "comfortable words" soon on this company. It is at a fraction of what I paid for it and my morale is getting low. Thanks

RESPONSE: Not really. Most junior mining stocks are down over 50% year over year. This is related to the price of gold, cycles and of course the Bre-X situation shaking investor confidence. We predict gold will come back strong and the cycle will turn again in our favor. Major mining companies should soon start spending huge hoards of money, saved for acquisitions, and take advantage of low stock prices. Big producers need to replace dwindling reserves. Our top takeover pick is T.BGO and/or V.AZS Arizona Star for their so far 27.5 million ounce gold Cerro Casale deposit, with millions of tons of copper. This or other large takeovers would spur a buying spree of several juniors who have advanced projects with proven resources. Then there would be a spill over to juniors with great projects and financing would become more available. Financing is the grease that keeps the junior mining markets wheels turning.
As for Samex, we still feel they have good gold and base metal projects in Bolivia and long term their stock is cheap. They have raised some money but need more to fully expand their drilling programs properly. Financing, once again, is the key.
