PPI Drop in the core, and energy prices.
This is significant as it wipes out the inflationary dilemma the Feds faced going into the next meeting and puts some additional pressure to lower > then .5 between the next two meetings. In fact I am now less reluctant now to dismiss a .75 rate cut, followed by a .5.
Strategy for traders, at a minimum, .5 is now built in and in fact will be led be selling as most will now expect more.
Expect a rally this AM, futures starting to move higher on the news...
