Firstly, blindness and retardation are both clear genetic manifestations that are made apparent to us physically or by test. Not so with homosexuality. The homosexual defect simply has no genetic cause of which we know, and the only way in which it manifests itself to us is via behavior. On principle we must reserve the right to discriminate against behavior, especially when the behavior has no integrity with human biological identity.

Secondly, homosexual behavior can be altered by the homosexual even if only temporarily, whereas the conditions of blindness and retardation are not at all controlled by their victims. We ought not force support of a behavior having no integrity with human biological identity and that can be controlled. Rather, we should support the control of the aberrant behavior to preserve integrity with humanity.

Thirdly, no one maintains that blindness and retardation are normal and healthy alternatives to the typical human experience. We understand these conditions are not reflective of natural human biological identity and so we do not support them. We in fact roundly understand them to be defects and persistently seek to treat and cure them. Contrariwise, homosexuals aim to treat the homosexual defect as if it indeed has integrity with human biology and they aim to force by law the normalization of it within human society. There is no logic to support such a thing.
