MSDW - Nokia (NOK-$25-N) How Long Can You Walk on Water? Angela Dean/Marcus Nash We raise C2001E EPS to €0.88 after NOK's announcement. We have raised our market share, ASP and oper margin for Mobile Phones, but still have EPS essentially flat for the year. Inventory build in the channel may be good news for NOK. Although NOK will ship fewer phones than it had planned in C1Q01, we think its market share and ASP maybe higher than it expected. Downward revisions of NOK's guidance for the year is still likely. We think economic slowdown means a likely rev miss; Accelerated cost cutting may be hard to maintain; Industry forecasts may drop further.
