Just to follow up, there's been lots of talk about various types of bottoms and the possibility that we've already seen capitulation blah blah blah. But the market seems to always get the last ones hanging on by their fingernails (even recent buyers), and maybe this will culminate in the mother-of-all-gap-downs, which is sorely needed here with an attendant spike in the VIX.
