hi sue

i have some thoughts, yes. and none particularly earth-shattering. <g3>

lots of back and forth on partitions versus new physical drives. i vote for partitioning a drive and loading win2000 on its own partition, but also getting the second physical drive and using it for image back ups. if you wish, you can partition the second physical drive and place an os on there too.

right now i have two physical drives. 1st drive is partitioned into c: and f:, where i run win98se and win2000pro respectively. 2nd physical drive is d: and has about 9 uncompressed images of the two os's. soon i'd like to partition the 2nd drive and place an os on it.

don't know if this helps...

:)
