McCLELLAN OSCILLATOR COMPLEX BOTTOM

We have a lot of short-term indicators, one of which is the McClellan
Oscillator; however, this indicator also gives us intermediate-term
information. Currently the Oscillator is in the process of forming a Complex
Bottom, a process that can take 6 to 12 weeks (or longer) during which the
market will usually continue to decline. The Complex Bottom is a large,
jagged, cup-like formation that remains mostly below the zero line, and we
have a doozy in progress right now. It was this current formation that
convinced me a few weeks ago that we were not going to get much of a rally
off the 10-Week Cycle lows.
