In your scenario, MSFT might go up, but the markets almost certainly would go down in
response to such blatant government corruption of the free market process. I would
agree with you that markets aren't an arbiter of right and wrong, which can have as many
individual definitions as there are people. But I do believe the markets are the most
sensitive forward looking instruments we have for predicting and determining our
economic future. We'll see how it goes.
