Every Sale has a BUYER,

This is not true when it comes to the stock market. CNBC and others with a financial stake on keeping the market going repeat it every day, but it doesn't make it any less false.

If person A sells his shares to person B who is covering a short such a sale has no buyer at the present time. The buyer was whoever bough the shares short way back when person B shorted the stock.
