Frankly< I think it is time we have a national program for rebuilding all of our old coal fired plants. The new plants can reduce pollution by 2 to 10 times. By getting rid of the old power plants, one could build 2 to 3 X the capacity with less pollution. However, that would take time, 2 yrs to build a plant, so I don't see what the feds can do about it in the short term. I thought they were looking into Mexican power. Actually pulling the plug will wake up CA. so they will get serious about doing what they must to solve the problem. Hopefully they will ship the power in from wall street and pull the plug on the Naz and DJ before they drop any further.
