GC,

I am getting hot again on Pd and Pt right now. I spoke with a person working in autocatalyst development recently and was told that there are no substitutes for Pd, Pt and rhodium. Rhodium takes care of NO2. If they could have used a substitute, they would have by now. Pt and Pd are interchangeable in the autocatalyst but both vital. You can not substitute at the moment. I also hear there are some significant new developments in catalytic converters coming out soon. Demand will rise in spite of the economy dwindling <g>. The Russian's not being able to fulfill their "boasts" will only help the situation.

I do not know if this all means that PDL is the right stock, but it can't hurt.

Bruce
