CHICAGO, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSII - news), the world's premier executive search and leadership consulting firm, today announced its board of directors has authorized company management to repurchase up to two million shares of Heidrick & Struggles common stock from time to time on the open market over the next two years.
``Heidrick & Struggles has a strong balance sheet and the board wanted to provide us with the ability to repurchase our shares on an opportunistic basis,'' said Patrick S. The company currently has 19.4 million shares outstanding.
