BB, I think the point you are missing is that we speak about fiat money not real money, So it is a matter of perception in exchanging one type of fiat money with another type of paper representing perceived value, not real value.
People get paid for their work, deal and purchase with pieces of paper or what is perceived of representing them. To return them to deal in real money I do not think it will happen.
Fiat money can be printed at the wish of governments and it is all an issue of perception. Still that does not mean that we will have a sustained rally but some type of rebound even short lived will happen IMHO.
I do not see CMGI, YHOO, INKT, ISLD and other of their ilk go anywere but to be penny stocks but would differ on DD, MMM, S, IP, AA, IBM, C, MRK, BMY, BA, INTC etc they may fall more but not in the low single digits
Until gold stays below $300 to $330 and US treasuries are yielding below 7% to 8% there is no real danger IMHO.
