Hi Jon, I saw the article making the rounds on SI and was going to post the link on Wayne's "Preserving Capital" thread. www0.mercurycenter.com Ummmmm .... 1 in 3 houses in Santa Clara Co. have income tied to options. Jeeez. I'm beginning to think what's going on is beyond the normal (if there is such a thing) dynamics of Wall St. And the 3rd act of this 3 act play is just getting started. This market was unable to muster a rally for more than 2 or 3 consecutive hours this week despite the fact that we will most likely get a 50 basis point rate cut next week. And we're already 2 months past when the 1st rate cut occurred. That's kind of worrisome. The flip side of the bubble -- When people simply want their money, or worse, need their money, stock valuations don't mean a thing. Chris
