I have read through a lot of past posting on this thread by now.
Some you know MSFT very well from past, please let me know on one
thing i.e.

Looking at historical data, MSFT never, I mean never had a
sequential decline in EPS. Currently wall street expects .78c this
quarter after having reported .79 last Q. In addition, wall street
expects about .68 in Q198 and .75 in Q298.

Can the historical pattern can be repeated by MSFT,
Why this pattern won't be held to:

.79, .80, .80, .81 for a calender 97 EPS of 3.20? If this is the case
at the current trading range of 50 - 57 PE, could we see 160 to 180
by as early as Jan98?

On the otherhand what is the downside to MSFT. Under what conditions
could it go down to say 100? I hear delays in NT, Memphis and
potential competition from IBM, Sun. I also hear potential antitrust
issues with IE4.0 bundling.

The potential for upside and potential for downside on this stock
drives me crazy. Any thoughts would help, primarily downside risk.
