Here is a very good one stop presentation of charts on the principal considerations and elements of the gold supply/demand equation. I thought you in particular would like it as there doesn't the appear to be any "agenda", mostly just facts. I think it will allow everyone on the thread a good reference point to discuss actual gold pricing and what might affect it.

One of the interesting charts he presents shows the complete bust of the US Gold Eagle market. There is virtually nil demand relative to earlier periods. I'm not that familiar with gold coins. Does anyone know if there has been investment substitution of another coin, or has interest just gone to zero on that whole market? If it's the later, I guess there are only two possible future trends: continue at a zero or go up. Down is no longer a possibility.
