One lies (down) with dogs and phonies (as you do), but a chicken lays an egg. The former is intransitive, the latter requires an object to fulfill its meaning. In other words, you misused "lie" and "lay," but nonetheless are still an accomplished liar. You should have said: "If you lie down with the Emperor ..." not "lay" down. I hope when you're addressing business groups you don't make similar errors.
Re: "If you applaud, cheer, follow, financially support, and defend a person who physically abuses women, lies to his family and cheats on his wife with girls barely out of their teen years..."
You're speaking of Clinton inquisitor Dan Burton, Deadbeat Dad-Indiana, right?
So once again, Cummings, you're wrong. I have long been an outspoken critic of GOP attack dog Burton and the numerous other GOP congressmen who let their John Henrys do their thinking for them, only to cause shame and embarrassment later for their families.
Have a nice day. My coffee break is about to begin. |
