But, what you should have admitted to is you borrowed those lemons, if only for an instant, and sold them to someone else, perhaps a great American, perhaps not, and then took that money, and if I know you, used it to borrow more lemons, and sell those to a potentially great American, with the great expectation of buying those sagging lemons, low hanging fruit as it were, back from that potentially great American, for a fraction (a fraction which would result in a number less than one, since a fraction of say 5/4ths would not be so great) of your original sales price.

Now... I feel comfortable in saying all this in that I was short against the box but covered at 50 when I hit my personal pain threshold and now rue the day. Also, I felt I had a patriotic duty to cover and help keep amat steaming. For the dyslexic love of Dog, cover. You don't want your daughter growing up RED do you?

P.s.
California and Arizona became the leading sources of lemons in the western hemisphere. In recent years, California has produced nearly double the crop that can be profitably marketed fresh or processed. Foreign competition has increased and many California growers have destroyed their lemon groves or topworked the trees to oranges, but new cultural techniques making summer production possible may reverse the trend.

All that glisters is not gold!

The thorns of the lemon tree inflict painful punctures and scratches. Lemon peel oil may cause contact dermatitis, chronic in those who handle, cut and squeeze lemons daily. Parts of the body touched by contaminated hands may show severe reactions after exposure to the sun. People that suck lemons may suffer irritation and eruptions around the mouth. The wood of lemon trees and its saw-dust may induce skin reactions in sensitive woodworkers.
