I don't get it. Everyone is talking about "tax selling" like it was year 2000 (tax year 1999). I thought the supposed reason that biotech is getting hit is that it has to catch up with everyone else's miserable year in 2000? The bears want their cake and to eat it too?

That is..... everyone is bitching about the hit that dotcoms and techs took in year 2000, so why shouldn't there be tax *buying* with -- net, net -- refunds? INTC started year 2000 at about (eyeballing Yahoo chart) 42, and ended it at about 30. MSFT started year 2000 at about 115, and ended it at about 40.

WHAT TAX SELLING? It's just more BS being poured out by those who can't pick stocks.
