bell labs had great minds, labs, patents, intellectual property. so did xerox. lu had lousy management which was interested in spending an obscene pile on a golf course. lu has amassed a lot of debt. times have been tough for the economy, the industry and the stock market. lu needs to pay down debt. nevertheless, it would be a shame to sell off assets at firesale prices. the stock price of lu is very low- it has taken quite a dive. pay your money and take your chances.
