Also any Canadian that makes numerous trades, should be familiar with these. It ain't pretty. Seems if your main intent trading stocks is to profit from the trades, you are a trader, and capital gains do not apply. That I guess is opposed to an "investor" who maybe never sells anything? Sort of, depends on your intent, the number of trades, the length of time a security is held, the amount of time spent on research, and on and on and on....
