Under the carpet is asphalt tile. Water is not obvious in the
tile we looked at in a corner, but the inspector has told me
of rotting to the carpet due to fungus developing in upcoming months. It is not certain of rotting, but there is a chance. A chance I dont want to take, that is why I am after
some type of insurance policy paid for by the seller to cover
forthcoming damages by the flood.
