More info on MSDW's FLEX calls The 1/26 Strong Buy upgrade was probably responsible for a 2% increase (from 39 to 39.81). Counting buy/sell costs the retail investor would not make money on that call. The 3/15 downgrade was right, FLEX dropped from 22.94 to 20.81, a 9% decline. But during the same period, many tech stocks declined more than 10% with no downgrade by any analysts.
