Allan, It's my understanding that the Fed cut rates twice in November 1929, but not again until 1932. My information could have been wrong; I think it came from Ned Davis research, but I don't remember. Do you have data on target rate changes too?

Otherwise, rate cuts look like they have been generally pretty effective. Good chart.
