all,

loved the excerpts from buffett. had read most of it before, but not the shorting horses part. didn't realize the ol' fuddy-duddy has such a grand sense of humor.

also, he appears to argue, with his fortune 500 stock being bot and sold in one room, against money heaven. i have always had a problem with the idea that wealth evaporates; can it really do that? doesn't it just get transferred?

goin' out to fire up chuckles-kubota and haul rock. sun's a shining and corned beef and cabbage will be done at 1500.

don

p.s. glad someone posted the greenberg on actm stuff. i really trust herb. i have said before that i think he is often early, but almost never wrong. this talk of how actm can make your fortune, when appraised against herb's caveats, chills the blood. i have been tardy in taking on the true believers; some stocks almost get religious followings.
