Dennis-- You are correct. The last hold out was Europe,,, now they will begin to play catch up with the downside of our economy. The two were interlaced more tightly since Japan has played its 17 year ALMOST captitulation. Possibly now Japan has seen what needs to be done and will start from a fresh bottom. If so AG will try and help them IMO wich will create a burden on Europe and the US when it is least affordable since he began this debacle.
Captitulation is only being looked for by the CNBC talking heads and those that do not think on their own. The only thing to remember is all mkts are in a downward trend. I'm not a chart person but history tells you the mkts require a reason to turn. There is no reason on the ST horizon that I can see. Japan is in the toilet and of no help to Asia while the US is still dropping and taking Europe down with us since they were not (and could never be) strong enough to pull us up. Lets hope this remains only a light recession that lasts less than another year..... but do not hold your breath,,,,, JM2cents
