The US Govt is the only organization powerful enough to so deftly cover it up and keep the lid on so long. Good point. If the gov't had actually ever been interested in exposing the perpetrators, it would have happened. That means the 2nd report about 10 (?) years ago was just part of the same scheme. The cover-up needed a new paint job. And in spite of the lack of real evidence for against him, I still think LBJ was in there someplace. He wanted to be President so bad it itched and he would never be elected. So he became a prince and killed the king. This did happen happen in Texas- -his state. And he had himself sworn in within about half an hour of JFK'd death. And now he could manage the cover-up. OTOH, maybe I just can't stand the guy because of Vietnam. The black sheep: The Republicans have Nixon; the Democrats have Johnson.
