2 very different areas - in order to see what this things potential value is, back out what IMG has spent over time from the power division - those expenses have kept eps down, but even then they are growing earnings nicely.
The superconducting part of the company has potential to be valued more than the medical area due to the fact that our electrical infrastructure needs to be rebuilt. Even if all the new power plants that need to be built actually get built, the wires etc that need to transport the power - cannot handle it. For small power plants placed closer to the eventual end user of power - the "distributed power" model - there are many types of apparatus that sit side by side with the gas turbine, miniature coal burner, etc. For power plants to be put closer to people, those devices need to be safer, and IMG is already beta testing with some major utilities. When rolling blackouts hit NY, Detroit, Cleveland, and California this summer, these issues will become center stage.
