but still at high levels given where the market is -- you have to look beyond absolute numbers.

Also there is a double effect here -- first, there is selling that has already occured because folks have been "washed" out by drops, but there is also going to be less of a willingness to employ the same tactics again when someone has been washed out -- that "acceleration" of buying has been removed permanently for all intents and purposes ...
