For those of you that follow Greenblatt's other site..
There was an interesting idea on LCVRZ.

valueinvestorsclub.com

Just thought I would add this blurb from IndividualInvestor.com.

On August 1, Elan (NASDAQ: ELN - Quotes, News, Boards) announced that the European Commission gave the drugmaker permission to market its Myocet breast cancer treatment. Elan acquired Myocet thought its recent acquisition of US drug company Liposome. The drug is a liposomal version of cancer drug doxyrubicin that offers an improved side effect profile, particularly with respect to nausea and ulcers, while maintaining equivalent anti-tumor efficacy.

The Committee for Proprietary Medicinal Products, which is the European equivalent of the FDA, approved the drug.

According to analyst Jeffery Kraws of Gruntal, Myocet could be launched this winter. Kraws projects 2001 sales of $20 million, reaching $100 million over the next 3-4 years .

My question is, if you are willing to bet they make the second milestone, should one buy the CVR's before the current 1.12 milestone payment (which gives the next milestone right a price of approx. ten cents) or wait for a possible selloff after the milestone payment, or a combo of the two, or it doesn't make a difference?

P.S. I have yet to read the proxy myself.
