Those who will be actively participating in the chat may consider a donation of $50 per week or more to be appropriate. ottographs.com Membership is by "donation only", with donation REQUIRED, in advance, to join. I fail to see the difference in just saying "Fee" required. This appears to be an attempt at getting around the backlash on SI over people prospecting for subscribers for their chat rooms, and create some fanfare over this "generous" offer to help the masses. Using "donation" wrt to putting $s into a gurus pocket is in poor taste IMO.
