This wouldn't have happened if Clinton had kept his biggest campaign promise made prior to election 8 years ago. That major promise stated throughout his campaign was to get the special interest money out of politics. He went on to accept more of this legal graft than anyone in history. Eight more years of it ingrained into our system makes it almost impossible to change.

Breaking this promise is one of Clinton's biggest failures and he certainly had a lot of them as he went about denigrating the office for the next eight years. Much bigger than when he promised to cut taxes if elected and instead gave us the biggest tax increase in history.
