This is the part I enjoyed the most. After the Bezos hype, Donaldson asked him "Jeff you've lost over a $billion dollars, but are you saying that you'll make money by the end of this year"
Jeff replied "yes, on a per forma basis".
Donaldson then said but "Jeff doesn't your per forma not include special charges, bad investments, and interest on your debt"?
Jeff, was tongue tided for a while and replied "Yes"!
Amazon.com is not a company in the real sense, it continues to be a soap opera, but not for the faint at heart!

I should have watched<VVBG>

By the way, my spread sheet on working capital indicates Amazon's will be negative in 60 days. They better find a major brick and mortar partner that will give them some cash very soon or the soap opera closes in about 8 months.

Amazon will need to inventory for the fall starting in July. My opinion is many vendors will not get permission from their insurers to provide product on credit. Particularly, the electronic vendors.

How is the weather in Seattle in September for the party? SB is bringing the beer and I am going to bring some single malt scotch.
