LOLOL, yep, anything is possible. My point was that this doesn't seem like a 29 thing to me. People are still packing the HD here in Boise, In my small town garden/ranch/hardware store, I ran into 5 other people building ponds and a bunch doing major landscaping etc. I just don't see the consumer decreasing spending yet. On the other hand, Don mentioned that he noticed nicer and bigger cars at the auction he went to so maybe some are getting hurt and we just don't see them.

Regarding the discussion on sectors and the sell off, my feeling is the NASDAQ has finally fallen enough to get near historical parity with the DOW versus it soaring much higher prior to the April 2000 decline. I imagine all the indexes will start to move in tandem soon. It all depends on the weighting though as I said in my earlier post.
