Looks like it hasn't broken a support line drawn under the previous lows, so by any definition the long-term trend is up. BTW, if you haven't read Barron's cover story next week it's a must. The writer is saying that technology PE's could be too high still because they haven't reached pre-Internet levels! I guess it's back to desktop apps for all of us!
