Bambs I have been following your posts for a few months.

You have been right virtually always. But I can not help but feel your wrong about Greenspan. I did not see any emergency rate cut coming and I see no more than 50 basis points next week. Most Likely there will be 25 basis points.

Your References to Japan is one reason I believe so. Their method failed. But the prime reason I believe there will be limited cuts, is the baby-boom generation. Each time the rates are cut after the market "over sold" people took advantage of the low interest rate and borrowed money to invest. The Fed believes we have an over price market. If they are right can you image if 75 million baby boomers with retirement on the horizon took out home equity loans to invest? The bubble would pop again in 9 years. Then what?

I feel extreamly uncomfortable going against you and would like more feed back.

Thanks,

Idiot
