Khris: I agree with some of your points and disagree with others. Canada..."drift towards socialism"???? Give me a break. I guess anything to the left of that wonderful "free market" democracy in Singapore is considered socialistic to some? There is a little matter called quality of life that might be considered by some, significant. Many inhabitants of western democracies just might vote for Canada as having an edge in that area. But then again maybe the civility of the population isn't on the free marketeers radar? Who's to say? You have a right to voice your opinion (one of the blessings of a democracy), but the fact that your ancestors were Canadian doesn't give you any edge when it comes to insight. At least judging by the ethnocentric arrogance of your post, not in my not so humble opinion. You have a point about sexist remarks. Although if you check back on this thread, I think you'll find some of the worst offenses predate the appearance of the M.B. as pin-up queen forum.
