I think one needs to observe that Bob's Long-term timing advice has been correct (ie. Jan 10, 2000 call to raise cash reserves). Calling a new bull market will require the long-term timing model to go bullish.

It's the short-term trading advice the seems to have broken down in recent months due to unknown reasons.
