Darleen, isn't such an event very similiar to how the global economy was after WWII, when the US economy made fully 50% of global economic activity? We survived that without having to return to the gold standard. We'll survive this. Btw, Japan is up 200 points right now, trying to make it back to that 13,000 magic mark. Ron
