I figured out which bottom Bob was talking about the same as you did. After all, it's not like historical price tables are hard to come by these days.

I don't know why people are so hung up on the date thing. Yes, the bulletin should have been dated, but for those of us who participated, that is the least of our worries.

BTW, I made a spread sheet to compare how I have done since the end of 1999 to how I would have done if I had just held on and not taken any of Bob's advice during that period. As of Friday's close, the portion of my portfolio allocated to equities is 9.3% better off after taxes than if I had followed buy-and-hold. And that includes the effect of the QQQ paper losses.
