Thinking back, my comment re: Canada was not well-advised.
I had let my temper get the best of me when I read the diatribe about the dialogue concerning U.S. politics not being proper here and, therefore, justifying the latest round of garbage concerning the "Babes of CNBC."
While, I do stand by post as to where Canada is going, it really doesn't have a lot to do w/ CNBC and would be best addressed elsewhere. I could strongly debate your comments on the subject, but this is not he place.
My comments should not be construed to mean that the U.S. does not have its problems, as we know it indeed does. But I was offended that our Canadian friend did not appove of our discussions here, which at the time, we felt were quite timely and topical, and did indeed have a substative link to what CNBC was broadcasting at that time.
But again, two wrongs do not make a right, and I do apologize for that part of my response.
That being said, I am still passionate in my dislike as to the direction our Frat Boys have taken this thread. Freedom of speech and all that rubbish, but I do encourage them to take it elsewhere, as it does little to further our analysis and discussion of CNBC.
Dennis, you are correct in that sexist comments are not new here, but that also does not mean we should not stomp them out when appropriate, my opinion only. |
