Hello, Wyatt. In perusing some of your prior postings, I wish to disabuse you of your assessment that the US Ton and the Long Ton are the same. The US ton is a "short ton", i.e., just 2000# as it were as opposed to the rounded off LT of 2200 pounds. Over here, we basically use tonne to refer to the LT in the press, and just the shortened as it were "ton" to refer to ...ah, yes, the ST.

Then there is the whole convertibility matter of avoir du pois to troy pounds to troy ounces in the LT vs the "T"
